Reunion Activity Summary  

Wednesday:

Shipmates and guests started checking in to the Hawthorne Suites. The hospitality room was open for conversation and to pick up reunion packets.

Thursday: 

The San Francisco tour started early. We boarded busses to catch a ferry at Vallejo that took us across the bay to Fisherman's Wharf.  There we were with with tour guides that pointed out places of interest on the boat trip.  At San Francisco we had a memorial service on the SS Jeremiah O'Brien, the only restored Liberty Ship at the end of Fisherman's Wharf.

We got on buses and took a bus tour of San Francisco, over the Golden Gate and to Napa Valley for a wine country tour that included a tour of a winery with wine tasting.

Then we returned to the hotel arriving around 18:00 for the ice breaker, barbeque buffet and silent auction.
