Just read through your 1965 cruise diary - superb!

I was the ET1 on the Braine at the time, and have many fond memories of steaming with Stoddard.  Chief Grady was my boss later when I taught at B school at TI, and I was one of a privileged few invited to his home for his retirement party before he went off to Oregon. 

The tech that came over to work on your SPS-6 was either me (I don't recall going to the Stoddard, but I did work on SPS-6 problems from time to time on other ships) or Jerry Wade, or Bill Perry, or ? Ferguson.  I think.
