Admiral Semmes Hotel
| Our host , the Admiral Semmes Hotel has been a landmark since its opening in 1940. The hotel is named for Admiral Raphael Semmes, the first and only commander of the confederate ship CSS Alabama. The hotel was beautifully renovated in 1985, with all the modern amenities. It is located in the heart of historic Mobile. |
