2012 REUNION

September 27 - 30, 2012

Double Tree Lloyd Center,

Portland, Oregon

Schedule of Events as of 05/13/201

Note: We have used the words Suggestion and Option in this document. An option is an event that we have made a count commitment to and will manage the transportation and cost. A suggestion is just an event that might be of interest and will be paid for by the attendee.

Arrival – The first official events start on Thursday morning, but we will have some un-official activities lined up for the early arrivers.  See the Wednesday schedule.

If you are arriving by air at Portland International Airport (PDX) your transportation to the hotel is by boarding the TriMet MAX light rail system.  The RED line services the airport and provides a direct trip to the hotel. A train departs every 15 minutes, day or night. It is a 15 minute ride to the Lloyd Center Station, which is adjacent to the entrance to the hotel. Fare information and purchase recommendations will be coming soon.

The Double Tree Hotel – Lloyd Center is a deluxe facility with many advantages for this reunion. Two of the important ones are the MAX Light Rail for easy “getting around” and the Lloyd Center, one of Oregon’s most popular shopping destinations. It is one block away to shopping, dining and entertainment, including a huge ice skating rink.

Our rooms and hospitality suite have stunning views of downtown Portland and surrounding areas. Our block of room rates are: Standard Room $99.00 and the Premium Suite $124. Oregon is a no sales tax state, but they get you with a 12.5% occupancy tax. The address is 1000 NE Multnomah St., Portland, OR 97232 Reservations call 1-503-281-6111 Ext 4100 – "USS Stoddard Reunion Group"
